I went home this weekend for my rugby alumni weekend. Before heading out to Niagara Falls I had the pleasure of showing Sarah my hometown. We went antique shopping and I took her to the quarries where we use to swim when we were young:
We also found some wild onions growing everywhere from my backyard to the side of the road. They have a faint onioney smell and are great in salads, chopped up and added to soups, or mixed with roasted potatoes.
I spent a week in CA visiting my friend Megan Baker who is doing Ameri corps in San Jose. While walking around we came across this awesome lemon tree. It definitely required some poking and yanking, since we don't have these things in NY.

I'm very envious of people that are able to have a citrus tree right in their backyard. I drink so many gin & tonics that a lime tree in my backyard would come in handy! Too bad they don't make miniature ones you can just move inside during winter...
