Did an amazing shoot with photographer Kat Teutsch & Karin Olsen last weekend.
We played around with some blue crabs. They have the prettiest shade of blue on their claws. Kat's kitty Isis wasn't that impressed with them.
Unfortunately one of them got me on my finger. Thankfully Kat was there to pry it off. Needless to say, he was the first one in the pot. Ha!

1 part water
1 part sugar
+any herbs, zest, fruit you want.
Add all ingredients into pot. Cook on medium flame until sugar is dissolved and it has a thicker consistency (syrupy). Add to your favorite drink; cocktails, coffee, or iced tea. Allows you to sweeten your drink without getting that gritty texture from granulated sugar.
